Bump and slop again.
Posted on April 27th, 2011 in Long Reef. Not much happening on the surf front this morning. If you are lucky enough to still be on holidays or not working you will have to be keen to go surfing. Still a strong on shore wind blowing. Its a very bumpy wind swell with no power.
2 – 3 foot slop. Not much more to say really. Enjoy Surf Photos of You.

Stronger and Uglier
Posted on April 26th, 2011 in Manly.Wind is stronger and surf is uglier than yesterday. A touch more size so your best best is the protected south corners to find any rideable combination. Good luck though.
And it with great sadness our clubby “friends” have their last day of patrols today. I will miss the sweet sound of that whistle telling me to get away from the empty flags…..how good is winter.

Easter Special, In Byron Bay Today.
Posted on April 26th, 2011 in Byron.
So Here we are, Anzac day is quickly drawing to and end, the extra long Easter weekend begins to wind up tomorrow, traffic in town has been gridlocked solid for the last four days, and that is how it really is, in Byron Bay today. Many folks have been having a blast, and many others have simply chosen to bunker down in their homes and just patiently ride it out. Us, we don’t shoot at this time, it’s just a tad too chaotic in the bay. Instead we use the time to perform important site and server maintenance, of which we have one more day to go. To be honest that side of things is all a bit tedious, but it needs to be done none the less. In the mean time as an Easter special, here are the twenty five most popular images for March 2011. We hope you enjoy them as much we enjoyed putting them together for you; it was nice reprieve from the other stuff, In Byron Bay Today.
Lest we forget
Posted on April 25th, 2011 in Manly.Manly is really crappy, onshore and small this morning. Still amazed how many keen people there are but I guess that’s Manly and I guess we’ve all been there. Should be more size and more junk at beaches that can pick up the south swell. Keep an eye on the wind throughout the day for a small shift or back off period if you must.
And of course before you get wasted on the punt later, never forget that even if the surf is crappy that we still live in the luckiest, most free generation in history all thanks to the diggers who gave their lives in a muddy trench. Imagine being drafted to war before that winter bali trip…. jeez we are lucky.
