"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Sunday midday pics

Swell conditions got progressively junkier as the day went along. After waiting for the drizzle to clear, I went for a look around midday.

I started at Curly. The only folk in the water were half a dozen or so chasing biggish windswell lumps at the north end. It was a lot’ve work as is the usual case with windswell and not too many were getting ridden. Here’s a worthy moment from one of them…

Then it was over the hill to see what was what at Dee Why. There were a few bods out at the point and a small group chasing opportunities in the peak complex just north of the surf club. As with Curly, it was really messy and lumpy and waves were hard to catch. Although we haven’t had much rain, the water looked pretty ordinary as well.

Pulling in

Further explorations up to Northy revealed nothing worth photographing. There were a few bodyboarders flopping around at Whiterock, no one much from there to North Narrabeen where I counted one stalwart trying to catch something but not having any success.
