Smokey, cloudy start. Smoke from a fire up the Hawkesbury is hanging over the Northern Beaches while the wind is light WNW. Should clear as the wind turns NE.
If you’re planning a surf today or tomorrow, you might want to have a Plan B.
Very small dribbly Noreast windswell for Saturday and Sunday, with a Southerly change expected Sunday arvo only likely to chop it up …
BUT …
– you never know, there might be a little wave at some places, at the right tide, with the right equipment – high tide just before 8am, so maybe as it starts to go out…
– it should be good for beginners to practice standing up
– the water temp is good for a swim at around 20
– you can walk along the beach
– quite a few dead muttonbirds still on the beaches… the poor creatures exhausted after their annual trans Pacific flight.
Enjoy
