"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Very small but not utterly flat

Hello Friends,
Heading to a high of around 30 today, so not surprisingly, the wind’s going to go reasonably hard from the NE this afternoon. Wind swell is showing mainly from the NE at close to the 1.5 metre mark at 7 seconds apart.
Waves at Dee Why looked to be around the knee to waist and a bit mark at 0730. Not a lot of juice to ’em of course because of that wind swell short period, but they were definitely catchable. As the tide floods in, that could change though. So maybe it’ll go quiet for a few hours and then start to show again as we get toward noon with a ramping NE’ly coming into play.
As for the near term forecast, I agree with the Goat’s assessment.
Have yourself a top old Friday, and keep on smilin’!

Risking fins to chase a few little peelers along the rocks at 0730.

This one actually went for a good 30 metres.

Weather Situation
A slow-moving high pressure system over the Tasman Sea will remain the dominant feature in the region through the next few days, maintaining a ridge over northeast New South Wales. A weak trough near the southern border will remain in the area during Friday, but is expected to decay on the central coast during Saturday. Another trough is expected to bring a more significant southerly change early in the new week.
