Waves aplenty on Sunday morning

Hello Friends,

Swell is here and conditions look very fun at Dee Why. It’s showing 1.5 metres at close to 14 seconds apart, so exposed spots should be delivering set wave faces that are solidly overhead. Average size at Dee Why when I checked the first time at around 0745 was chest plus at the beach and waist plus at the point. The beach was way more consistent than the point but picking ’em continues to be a challenge. Given the swell direction, I’d expect heaps of places to have waves today. Wind should be offshore into the afternoon before turning light onshore late.

Tide was high at 0520 and will hit low at 1130. Should be sunny and the record smashing warmth looks set to continue until the end of the month.

Outlook is for the waves to last through to Tuesday morning before we drop back to another long stretch of marginal to near flat conditions. So get into if you possibly can!
