Swell was raw and bumpy as the wind blew across it out to sea. Inshore at Dee Why there were head high wave faces and bigger, but the quality was ordinary. The main energy is going by us and what’s getting in isn’t great quality. Within an hour of taking these pictures, the conditions had deteriorated further as the swell got bigger and the chop worse.
