Surf forecast issued Thursday 6 August 2015: Eight day outlook for Sydney:
More westerlies, so more of the same up and down conditions… with cold air and cool water (or as a mate said the other day ‘time to go skiing’…) … So with so much south in the swell when it comes what comes ashore won’t be as big as some models might suggest…
Friday: coming up.. in say the 1-2, 2 + metre range dead South… then
Saturday: around 2-3 metres at beaches that handle dead South swell.. then
Sunday: heading down again through 1-2 metres, dead South
Monday: down a bit more in the 1-2metre range South East
Tuesday: about 1 metre or so
Wednesday: 1 metre or less North East
Thursday: smaller
Friday: starting to come up from dead South.
But before anything else, you have to watch this – absolutely unbelievable! Thought there wasn’t much that surprised me but I dips me lid, again – after Mick Fanning punching out the shark – to yet another Aussie World Surfing First!…
