Cold and small but not flat

Hello Friends,

About 10C at RealSurf HQ around 0700 and 10-15 kts of WSW wind under mostly clear skies. Swell is out of the south to SSE at 1.8 metres with an average period of 10 seconds. Tide’s high at 1030 and while it was possible to get a wave at the point, they looked to be waist plus at best. The beach seemed to be about the same.

The Bureau tells us that the wind will swing to the S-SE this afternoon and at the same time the swell is predicted to come up a little this morning. It should stick around at around the 2 metre mark through tomorrow morning before gradually backing off. At the same time the wind is expected to move around to the NE, but stay pretty light.

Thursday, according to the models, is probably going to be small again, but the good news is that they’re showing another brief but useful looking south pulse in combination with light northerly wind.

Have a great day and keep on smilin’!
