Hello Friends,
Swell has faded overnight and surface conditions were kinda lumpy as the sun came over the horizon. Wind wasn’t a factor for the early, but the Bureau is calling for 15-25 kts of northerly today. Oh, and the swell is set to decrease further. The MHL buoy hasn’t reported in since midnight when it was still showing solid south south-east energy levels.
Tide was low at 0645 and skies were slightly smoky.
We’re headed into a week of rain, indeed, it could get underway this afternoon. Tomorrow looks like being smaller than today and by Monday the wind is set to be around to the east-SE. And there doesn’t look like being much swell either.
Bit of a questionmark over Tuesday through Friday. It’s supposed to be rainy, but the models are also showing a looking SSE-SE swell pattern. The problem will be the wind (likely onshore much of the time) and the period (sub-10 second). At this stage I’m being more hopeful than realistic.
Nevermind, get out there if you can!
