Thursday early clean, small, but surfable

Hello Friends,

The Bureau tells us we’re in for a showery day with southerly winds of 15-20 kts, but when your correspondent climbed up to the crows nest at 0630, wind was still lightly offshore and there was a clean looking knee to waist plus line along the beach. The point wasn’t doing anything of note that I could see.
At 0500 the MHL Sydney buoy was showing 1.6 metres of 10-sec SSE swell. Tide’s coming into the high at 1025.
This morning’s marine forecast is calling for the current hint of swell to fade, then to come back up a touch from the south tomorrow morning before again dropping back in the afternoon. Unfortunately it’s also supposed to be southerly for the early and then SE later. Saturday looks about the same. Beyond that, well some of the models are looking interesting for this time next week so I’ll be keen to see the Goat’s take…
Have yourself a top old Thursday everybody and stay happy!
