Sydney looking small and weak for the early

Hello Friends,

Surf prospects for Monday didn’t look too hot as of 0430. At that point the wind was a light SSE onshore and the MHL buoy was picking up 1.4 metres of 7-second SE wind swell. Wind’s not expected to change much off those settings until late this afternoon. So, I reckon it’ll be very weak, junky and right at the lower limit of surfable.

Outlook for the week ahead is not too fabulous. Essentially it looks as though you can expect conditions to more or less bump along in the near flat to marginal range. Midweek looks particularly dire on the models, but some are also showing an uptick for next Saturday. So, that’s a good thing.

No postcard for you yet today, but I’m heading out on a mission soon, so hope to bring back something to share later this morning.
