Hello Friends,
Been off the air a for a few days, apologies. Actually managed to get in the water yesterday – hooray! Only microscopic, but they ran a way before running out of puff. Basically it was like a really weak Collaroy. Water was about 18 I’d guess, so not bad for November anyway. Here’s a snap of the exciting conditions just after I got out of the water.
Today I was making the drive from Ventura to Santa Barbara and stopped along the way to grab a couple of snaps from a spot called “the wall” or “signals”. It was producing some okay and fun size little set waves. Although it was Saturday afternoon, there were only 4 or 5 beginners in the water. Was real bummed I couldn’t join them.
Just a little north of the wall Hobson’s beach park. It’s an okay reef set up that can get good during winter when the swell packs some punch – which as you can see below was definitely not the case today.
