Still swell but it’s been NE all night too

Hello Friends,

Still dark in Sydney as your correspondent taps out these words from the other side of the planet. The live wind data from the Bureau shows there’s around 10kts of NE’r going and the latest from the MHL buoy is showing SSE swell of close to 2 metres at 12 seconds – an excellent combo for numerous places in Sydney. But that wind will cut the options down to a short list I’d guess. Bureau says 15-20 kts all day.

Tide’s coming in to a high at 1045, and the Bureau says the swell mix should see a mix of south and NE later in the day. So, not without prospects, but it may need a bit of hunting around to find something worthy.

Looking ahead, I’m getting stoked about late next week when I’ll be back on the beaches once more. The models are currently looking pretty attractive…

No postcard (yet) but maybe later…
