At 0720 the NE’r was already going 15-20kts, Swell was still more SE than anything else, but it’s dropped a bit to under 2 metres and period has come back a couple of seconds from yesterday. So, if you found waves yesterday, start there I’d say. Tide’s coming into the high at 1040 and there’s a 70% chance of showers. Oh, and the wind’s not going to let up.
Outlook for Monday isn’t too red hot. A south change is due through early and then it goes around to the SE later. Swell energy levels look like fading a little too.
It looks like the swell won’t drop a lot more this week, but that wind will be a factor. However, Friday and Saturday are shaping to be interesting…
