Looking very small

Hello Friends,

Swell, such as it is this morning, is coming from the ENE at about 5-6 seconds and is around a metre at sea. There’s a tiny little bit of SSE left over as well, but from the look of Dee Why, you’d be doing really well to find anything above knee high. And even then, it’ll be very weak. So, if you really want to get in this morning, take the biggest and floatiest option in your quiver.
Wind is set to be out of the northerly quarters today. It’s likely to hit 15-20 kts later. Tide was high at 0600 and is now dropping to the low at 1245.
The swell forecast models continue to point toward an extended period of juicy east swell from around Friday. The wind call looks moderately okay for the mornings on Friday and Saturday, but beyond that the Bureau’s charts are showing heaps of mainly S-SE wind. So, cautiously hopeful for Friday and Saturday, and then we’ll see…
Have a great Wednesday and stay happy!
