Hello Friends,
Yesterday afternoon’s little south pulse seems to have disappeared. At its peak it was hitting the 1.2 metre mark with a period of close to 9 seconds. Your correspondent was in the water at Longy and can report that there were some shoulder high wave faces in the mix. But, sadly, that’s all gone now. The average height has dropped to 0.75 metres at about 7.5 seconds, so I reckon knee to waist will be about as good as it gets today. And, from the look of the models, that situation looks likely to prevail more or less to the end of the week. Happily, from next week the long range models are projecting an extended run of solid winter looking swell numbers. So, chill for now, ’cause it looks like getting interesting soon…
Have yourself a great Tuesday one and all!
