Still quiet this morning at Dee Why

Hello Friends,
Light offshores under mainly clear skies as Friday got started, but no sign of swell at Dee Why – yet. The Bureau is predicting the swell to increase to 2-2.5 metres from the south this morning. The MHL buoy was picking up only half a metre of 7-8 sec SSE at 0500 however Batemans Bay was showing 2.6 metres of south swell at 9 seconds, so there’s definitely a reasonable prospect that we’ll have surfable conditions later today.
Tide’s high at 0715 and then will drop to the low at 1305. Wind’s supposed to go south to SW during the middle part of the day and then become light and variable.
All the settings look right, so now we wait…
And the week ahead? Well, I commend the Goat’s wisdom to you.
Have a great day and yes, I’ll be looking for an opportunity to update with news of a swell arrival later, so might be an idea to check back…
Have a top old Friday!
