"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris
dy point

Micro messiness this morning

dy beach
Grey skies, grey seas and no waves
dy point
A tiny rime of white along the point, but really, no swell.

Hello Friends,

Over a metre of SSE wind bump out at sea this morning, but the 7-second period isn’t enough to turn that into surfable waves at Dee Why. There should be some gutless bumps up toward Longy, but knee high would be a big one I reckon. Throw in 10-15 kts of NE wind and dull grey skies and you’re not looking at clean conditions either. To the extent it matters, tide was low at 0550 and will be back to high at 1215.
So it all adds up to a good day for work, school or, in my case, work and watching the American presidential debates while playing factcheckbingo.
The Goat will be along later with his outlook for the coming surf week. I wonder if he’ll like the look of Mon-Tuesday…
Have a happy and productive Thursday everyone!
