Hello Firends,
North East, 1.3 m and 7 seconds. Not good for Dee Why and only marginal at NE magnets. Yesterday’s liney south well is but a memory.
Wind was coming from the NNW when I tapped these words out at 0630. The Bureau says it’ll be southerly from around midday but there’s not much prospect of an improvement to swell energy levels. And, this morning’s run of the models paints a bleak picture for our surf prospects over the rest of the week. Indeed I’d have to say it looks as though we’re going into about a week of marginal to flat conditions.
Ah well, it hasn’t really been a bad spring all things considered.

North to northeasterly winds will prevail along most of the New South Wales coast ahead of a southerly change associated with a cold front on the south coast this morning extending to Sydney Waters late morning before becoming slow moving on the north coast in the afternoon. A high pressure ridge through southern parts of the continent will shift winds more easterly on Thursday.
