Hello Friends,

Sparkling morning after last night’s storm but not a hint of a wave. Wind at North Head was a brisk 15-25 kts from the WSW and the MHL buoy off Sydney report for 0500 was a metre of SSW of 5-second wind chop. Beachwatch is calling the water temp 21. Tide will be low at 1040 and back to a 1.5m high at 1645.
And the outlook? Well, it’s Friday, so that means there’s a piping hot fresh forecast from the Goat to guide your plans.
Go well with your Friday!

Weather Situation
A cold front has moved through southern and central parts of the coast and is expected to cross northern parts this morning and early afternoon, resulting in fresh to strong north to northwesterly winds shifting southerly. Over southern parts of the coast today southerly winds are expected to reach gale force strength. Winds will ease later today and Saturday as a high pressure ridge strengthens in the wake of the front. A new high pressure system will be established in the Tasman Sea by Saturday evening, and continue into Sunday, with winds tending east to northeasterly once again.
