TG’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Thursday 2 February 2017: Seven day outlook for Sydney:

The gusty Southerly change that came through this morning huffed and it puffed but it didn’t really do anything, and while it has eased off considerably, the present smallish surf is WCNG (Windy, Choppy, No Good).

Wind is expected to be light North Easter by tomorrow, with some more hot weather on the way. The surf outlook for the coming weekend and week is, shall we say, somewhat subdued.. but have no fear there will be little waves at some places at the right tides…and with the appropriate surf craft.

Friday: about 1 metre or so South East

Saturday: about 1 metre or so ..little bit of South East…little bit of North East direction

Sunday: ditto..ditto..and ditto

Monday: in the 1-2 metre range North East

Tuesday: in the 1-2 metre range South East after an expected southerly change, but WCNG

Wednesday: a bit bigger and dittoish.. small swell period so not much is likely to get into protected corners

Thursday: in the 1-2 metre range East.

Have fun!
