Hot and knee high for today

Hello Friends,

Already 24 at 0600 in Sydney. Swell is from the north (chop) and SSE (1m at 10 sec). Looks to be in the knee to waist range at standout spots. Wind light SSW going to NE around midday and then southerly later. The change will knock down the temp from the predicted 39 high to something in the 20s. Tide is a 2m high at 0925.
If it’s before 0730 and you’re in Sydney, you can catch the Goat on ABC 702 just ahead of the news healines at the aforesaid hour!

Today’s postcard is a shot of the place I learned to surf way back in ’69. It’s a hike to reach it and there are hardly ever waves worthy of the name. Still a fresh swell is filling in and it was producing an empty peak when I checked this morning…

Braemar empty today
