Very ordinary..

Showers
Wind cuŕrently 30-50kph SE..
BoM has large surf warning today and tomorrow
Swell 3.3 m offshore SE but only 8.5 seconds so not enough period for much
too get into sheltered southern corners..so waves at beach around 2 metres
or so open beaches smaller in sheltered corners but messy.

Don’t bother.

Best bets
Coffee shop..good book..stay indoors don’t add to traffic

Outlook for next few days…

Bom has a large surf warning for today and tomorrow

Surf forecast

I hate to say it, but the current outlook is for similar or a variation on
more of the same… Showers (or two), onshoreish wind (or fresh southerlies
for variety), choppyish short period waves and generally rubbish… with an
occasional patch of blue sky, even sunshine, to make you think it’s fining
up and settling down at last. Might be semi OK Monday, Tuesday.

On the plus side: warm air temps, warm sea temps.

So the Surf:

Saturday: around 2 + metres East South East windblown

Sunday: around 2 + metres East North East and onshore to Nor East

Monday: around 2 + metres North East, with a fresh Noreaster

Tuesday: in the 1-2 metre range North East, might be OK before a southerly
change chops it up

Wednesday: ditto, with southerly wind

Thursday: starting to come up in the 1-2 metre range at dead South places.

If none of the above appeals to you…

Just relax, keep calm and say it again: “Oh well We need the rain”… And
keep saying it to make yourself feel better.

Remember, it will get better.

There will be sunshine and perfect waves… Sometime 🙂
