"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Junky, sideshore and grey skies this morning

Hello Friends
Back in Sydney once again. Wednesday morning is looking pretty ordinary I have to say. No one in the water at Manly, two just getting out at Curly and two at Dee Why – tells a story.
There are waves, but 15-20 kts of S-SSE wind was tearing it up from Manly to Long Reef. The MHL data shows close to 3 metres of 9 second south swell so in theory it should look more impressive in terms of size. I’d say the biggest wave faces I saw were in the shoulder high range at Curly and the Point.
Tide is low at 0840 and back to a 1.36m high at 1450.
Wind is predicted to weaken a little toward midday, but we’re stuck with southerlies through tomorrow according to the Bureau. There’s a 30% chance of possible showers too.
The swell models are continuing to show not much of anything for the remainder of the week and into the weekend, although the weather should be nicer on Friday and there might even be a little wave if the predicted 12 sec periods eventuate.
Have yourself a great Wednesday everybody!
