Rest day for surfers

Hello Friends,
Absolutely micro this morning at Dee Why with no visible lines and only a hint of whitewater along the rocks at the point.
Wind will shift south to SE this afternoon and as it does, we might see the first harbingers of an expected ramp in the energy. But this morning? I very much doubt you’ll find anything surfable.
Tomorrow looks interesting with the call for SW wind and an increasing south swell. The Bureau says 2 to 3 metres by noon…
Tuesday is shaping to be windy from the SSW, but the swell should be getting into the corners – if the forecast models have it right. By Wednesday the predictions suggest we’ll be back to small again as the average size drops back and the period gets shorter. Fortunately the long range predictions currently indicate that we’ll have surfable if small and marginal conditions into the weekend.
Go well with your Sunday and here’s hoping for tomorrow!

Alternative watercraft rule. No waves this morning.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea is moving east, as a cold front sweeps across New South Wales. This front is bringing a southerly change to southern parts of the coast this morning, continuing through to the northern border later in the day. A low pressure centre associated with this system is expected to deepen as it reaches the Tasman Sea tonight, before moving gradually away to the east over the following couple of days. This development should see winds turn southerly for the first half of the new week, with an increasing swell also forecast.
