Back to micro on Wednesday at Dee Why

Hello Friends,
Hope you got in yesterday because although it’s offshore and sunny this morning, the waves have all but gone away. I watched Dee Why for sometime and didn’t see any waves caught. Tide was right on the 1.5m high at the time (0750) so that wasn’t helping either.
The MHL buoy was showing SSE !.4 metres at 7 seconds, so maybe there could be a little peak at a magnet spot somewhere. But Dee Why’s not the place right now.
Gotta run, so haven’t had a good look at the swell models, but a quick glance indicates smallness from here into next week…
Go well with your Wednesday!

Couldn’t catch this little bump (aka a set)
hanging out and waiting for something catchable
No dice for the point this morning

Weather Situation
A slow-moving high pressure system lies over southeast Australia, while a low over the southern Tasman sea is progressing eastwards. The high will be eroded somewhat during Thursday as a cold front passes to the south, but a new high will quickly reestablish a ridge into New South Wales during Friday, maintaining predominantly southerly winds along the coast. This pattern is likely to break down during the weekend, with a trough near the coast bringing more variable winds.
