Spent the day driving through the showery grey weather and arrived at Crescent right on dusk. Happily there were waves, so I’m being cautiously hopeful about tomorrow morning… set faces at the top of the point were briefly into the head high range on takeoff, however the sets were few and far between for the healthy Mother’s Day crowd in the water. It also looked as though the average period was on the short, wind-swelly side. Waves were soft and not many of them were rideable more than half way down the point.
