Kiddies: busy little linesĀ

Hello Friends,
Definitely a few little lines around this morning before 0700. Wind wasn’t a factor and the surface was glassy. Sets were in the knee to waist high range from south to North Narrabeen and from Kiddies to Longy. I’d say it’s a safe bet any similarly aligned stretch along the Sydney coast will be hosting similar conditions. Tide is a 1.9 m high at 1015, dropping back to a lowish low of 0.2 m at 1635 and that means waves are on the slowish and fattish side. At 0500 the MHL buoy was showing a metre of 8-sec from the SSE. Wind should be light until late morning when the NE’r will start to fill in.
Outlook is for today to be the smallest point in the week wavewise and lightest windwise. Wind should could go SW over the next couple of days and the swell should increase a touch as it builds toward what looks to be a mid-week peak when the wind will be SE unfortunately even as the swell climbs past the 2 metre mark.
Have yourself a great Saturday!!

Weather Situation

A weaken high pressure ridge lies over the New South Wales coast while a cold front south of the Bight is moving east. Winds will turn northeasterly today as the front approaches and the high moves over the Tasman Sea. A fresh to strong southerly change associated with the front will move through southern and central waters during Sunday, continuing further northwards on Monday. A high pressure system will then strengthen near Tasmania, maintaining southeasterly winds along the New South Wales coast during Tuesday and Wednesday.
