Hello Friends,
Late afternoon saw overhead faces at the point, but nothing like the crazy bigness happening offshore and up the coast. There were a few people in the water dicing with the lumpy conditions. Wind was SW 10-20 kts and an hour or so earlier the MHL buoy was showing 3.7 m from the S (185°) at a shade under 12 seconds.
The early could be interesting for the fit and fearless…
Forecast issued at 4:05 pm EST on Friday 1 June 2018.
Weather Situation
A complex low pressure system in the Tasman Sea is slowly moving east, while a high pressure centre near Tasmania weakens and extends a ridge over western NSW. These two systems combine to generate vigorous southerly winds and large waves. Conditions are expected to ease during Sunday as the low moves further east and a high pressure ridge strengthens in the western Tasman Sea.
