Clean early with nice looking little waves

Hello Friends,

The airport might’ve been socked in with fog this morning, but it was clear this morning along the beaches. As of 0800 wind was light offshore, the ocean was smooth and there were waist high waves along the beach at Dee Why and at the point. Wind is set to be light and variable today, plus the Bureau says we can expect the swell to actually increase a little. At 0500 the MHL buoy was seeing a little 10+ sec NNE component along with 1.5 metres of 12-sec south swell (164-168°). First tide of the daylight hours was a 1.6 m high at 0805. It’ll be low again at 1430. Ocean temp is on 22C according to Beachwatch.
From this morning’s swell models, it looks as though we should have waist high give or take for the next week. However it also looks as though we can expect a fair amount of wind too. With any luck, the morning sessions will be okay.
Get out there if you can!
