"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Hello Friends,

At first light the wind was coming faintly from the north under a mostly cloudy sky. Swell was around the 1.4 metre mark and coming from the SSE and NE at about 8-9 seconds apart. First tide of the daylight hours is a 1.6m high at 0950. We’re heading for a warm 27C today with an ocean at 21C.

Outlook for the week ahead remains in line with the Goat’s forecast, ie a couple more days of the current conditions, then pretty small Monday and Tuesday before a little southerly bump arrives with a midweek south change. Thereafter it looks like fading out again, although at least some models are saying Thursday morning could offer a few options in the chest high range at south spots.

Weather Situation

A strong high pressure system will drift across the southern Tasman Sea during the next day or two, maintaining a ridge towards the northern New South Wales coast. A cold front is skimming across southeastern Australia today. Associated southerly change will reach the South Coast later today and the central parts of NSW coast tomorrow. A second, more significant, cold front is expected early in the new week.
