Boxing day tinyness

Posted by: on December 26th, 2019

Hello Friends,
Glassy with just a breath of NNE breeze when I grabbed the snaps around 0700. Tide was coming into the 1.89m high at 0910 and skies were more sunny than not. Lots of folks in the water at both Curly and Dee Why beaches, but waves were pretty marginal. I’d call it a fat and gutless ankle to knee with the odd waist high bomb. Take the floatiest option in your surf arsenal. We should see a high of 25C along the beaches today.

Outlook is for conditions to bumble along at more or less this current lack of intensity through the weekend. Right now there is at least a hope of a little NE pulse early next week. Right now the indications are that it will be pretty local (short period) but potentially into the waist to shoulder range at standouts in the usual spots.

Have a great Boxing Day everyone!

Come and play another day at Dee Why point
