No surf at Dee Why

Hello Friends,

15-20 kts of SE wind from the get-go on a beautiful sunny and mild morning. Dee Why looking like a real mess surfwise. Swell conditions out at sea are 2 metres from the south at 7 seconds and that means there only junky waist to maybe chest high slop at the best exposures. Good day for kiting maybe?
The Goat should be along soon with his outlook, so as always I’ll be keen to see what he thinks…
Go well everybody, stay safe and mask up!

Windy start to Thursday morning

Weather Situation
A weak trough of low pressure along the northern coast will strengthen again with a surge of south to southeasterly winds and move towards the Queensland border this morning. Winds will remain south to southeasterly over most coastal waters over the coming days as a slow moving high pressure system over the Bight extends a ridge along the coast behind the trough.
