Hello Friends,
Another grey and drippy morning along the beaches. There are knee to waist high scrappy wind waves in the corners if you are super keen, but quality is looking damn ordinary. Better exposures are bigger but the 10-15 kt easterly is basically trashing what might be reasonable waves were it offshore. It looks as though the wind will blow all day too.
The Goat must still be celebrating the COVID-19 restrictions being lifted in his corner of the world because he didn’t file his usual Thursday evening outlook. He’ll probably share his wisdom later today and I’ll be keen to see what he makes of the coming week’s surf prospects. Just quietly, I’ve got my eye on next Friday…

A slow-moving high pressure system southeast of Tasmania is drifting while extending a ridge northwards across the Tasman Sea. The ridge is directing east to northeasterly winds over coastal waters. The next trough is expected to affect the far south late Saturday and the remainder of the southern half during Sunday.
