Surf forecast issued Thursday 14 September 2023: Seven day outlook for Sydney
Surf conditions have been samll to medium through the week but from Palm Beach to Manly the state of the banks – not the ones with the money, the ones with the sand – looks decidedly Ordinary, TG has observed. He said they are very straight, and look perfect if you want to catch straighthanders. (He knows nothing).
Combine those playing conditions with the occasional morning smoke haze lingering in light (offshore) winds from Hazard Reduction burns, and if you care about the health of your eyes, sinus and lungs to name a few body components, you might decide to give outdoor exercise, which includes surfing, a miss for a bit.
Ever-helpful TG says, generally ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Air Quality is NG in the early morning when there’s light wind, and gets OK on the coast after the Nor Easter kicks in.
You can check the likely timing of that each day here>>

If you’re desperate to get some wet exercise, you could see how long you can hold your breath swimming underwater. The cold water might help prevent you from holding it too long 🙂
The Surf Outlook>>>
Friday: around 1 metre or lessish, South East
Saturday: ditto
Sunday: dittoish East South East
Monday: dittoish dead South
Tuesday: could start to come up a bit say around 1 – 1 + metres at places open to due South
Wednesday: similar, but from the North East, suiting places that, well, like that
Thursday: something similar.
Stay well. Stay healthy.
TG.
