Smoke gets in your eyes and lungs

Hello Friends,
The smoke from controlled burning across the Sydney basin was so thick along the beaches, that I couldn’t really see Dee Why from RealSurf’s crows nest. The wind was coming from the west at a steady 10 kts, so until that swings to the NE later, the smoke is probably going to be bad. The official advice is for sensitive people to “AVOID outdoor physical activity if you develop symptoms such as cough or shortness of breath.”
And everyone else to “REDUCE outdoor physical activity if you develop symptoms such as cough or shortness of breath.”

I’ll try to post a picture or two later, so for now all I can tell you is that there’s a 1.6 metre, 13+ second SE swell out at sea and the tide will be dropping after 0755 as it heads to the low a 1335. Assuming you don’t mind the smoke, there should definitely be waves around today and into the weekend.
