Scrappy and small for Thursday

Hello Friends,

We had a little rain overnight at RealSurf HQ and this morning saw grey skies and 8-10 kts of SE wind chopping up the surface conditions along the beaches.  The MHL buoy was detecting 1.6 metres of 10 second SE swell. That was translating into waist plus sets at Dee Why for those keen enough to have paddled out. The wind should swing around to the NE later and the Bureau says the swell should pick up a little too. Add that to the prospect of clearing skies later, and maybe there will be a little something of interest in the north corners for the late session. Tide was high at 0710 and it will be back to a lowish 0.29 low at 1300.

As for the outlook, we should have the Goat’s words of surf wisdom to contemplate later today. So check back!

In the meantime, have a great Thursday!
