The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Thursday 28 September 2023: Seven day outlook for Sydney

Lots of waves today. But not lots of quality.

Plenty of waves for the kids to get practice with close outs. But not much chance to practice turns, do manoeuvres, or ride a wave for fun.

Straight banks, from no storms, small seas, plus westerlies, will do that. But hey, lots of pluses there!

Good conditions for exercising, paddling, duck diving, burning off energy and generally having fun with mates.

Should be more to come through the next week of school hols…

Tired kids after a day of exercise in the fresh air, sunshine, and clean water should = happy mums and dads.

Friday: Mostly around 1, 1 + metres or so from South East

Saturday: change of direction and size at some places, say 1-1+ metres at places open to dead South, and not much at others

Sunday: around 1 metre or so from North East

Monday: something similar

Tuesday: easing back to 1 metre or less North East

Wednesday: could start to come up a bit from the North East, depending what the weather does up there…looks like 1 – 1+ metres NorEast at this stage

Thursday: depending on Wednesday’s developments, might be a bit more, but TG thinks it’s a bit soon to tell.

Enjoy.
