Hello Friends,
North Curly was emblematic of the conditions along the Northern Beaches this morning, namely grey skies, NNE wind at 9-12 kt and a metre of 6-sec east wind swell. As you can probably infer from a glance at the picture, surf was around knee high, messy and weak.
It’s Thursday, so I’ll defer to the Mighty Goat who will be along soon with his thoughts about our surf prospects for the coming week. So check back and of course, stay happy!
Weather Situation
A slow moving high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge along the coast while an inland trough lies in the state’s far west. The trough begins to move eastward on Saturday, crossing the the southern and central parts of the coast during the weekend.
