Surf forecast issued Thursday 9 November 2023: Seven day outlook for Sydney
Heey this constantly changing weather might be annoying, but you can’t say it’s boring.
You look at a surf cam for somewhere and you go to the place only to find that you couldn’t see the howling wind on the screen.
Or you think somewhere looks ordinary, and you go anyway and it turns out to be not that bad!
The ocean is constantly changing in reponse to the vagaries of the weather.
So the joys of surfing include endless anticipation~~~Who knows what tomorrow might bring?
Here’s what TG thinks the surf will do~~~
Friday: around 1 ish or so at first, then increasing as the wind picks up somewhere in the 1-2 metre range North East.. bigger at southern ends of beaches
Saturday: somewhere in the 1-2 metre range North East and ditto
Sunday: dittoish
Monday: a change in direction, somewhere in the 1-2 metre range at places that get dead South swell..nothing much at other places
Tuesday: easing back, say 1 – 1 + metres, then less than 1 metre dead South
Wednesday: starting to come up from dead South with the wind behind it, so a messy 2 -2+ metres from dead South
Thursday: dittoish.
