Swell but onshore

Hello Friends,

Busy all morning, so only now checking the surf data.

As of 1515 wind was ESE 10-15 kts under sunny skies and swell at sea was dead south and 2.4 metres at 10 seconds. Size was into the head high range on sets at Dee Why point and along the beaches. Unfortunately the chop was making the point pretty much unsurfable and the long lines were shutting down the beaches.

Sorry, no pics because the heat haze is making it pointless to use the long lens from RealSurf HQ.

The swell should intensify tomorrow but it looks like the best hope for clean conditions will be the early as the forecast is calling for wind from the easterly quarters all day. Maybe the late at north ends will be the go.

Sunday could see swell dial back significantly with light NE for the early at dead south magnets the go.

Catch you tomorrow!
