The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Thursday 1 February 2024: Seven day outlook for Sydney

Hmmm interesting, TG said…

And ???>>>

Let’s go with this …was all he muttered>>>

Friday: around 1-1+metres at places open to the South and starting to come up from way down south after having crossed the Bight and turning left

Saturday: say maybe 1-2 metre range, 2 ish metres at places open to dead South (The BoM has a Large Surf warning, but as usual doen’t tell you in the weather summary which way to watch out from, or which places might cop it.. hint: it won’t likely be in the southern corner of Manly)

Sunday: Large Surf warning from the BoM.

Looks to TG like around the 1-2 metre range from dead South.. could be some sets

Monday: say around 1-1+ metres, then coming up a bit later…from North East

Tuesday: say in the 1-2 metre range North East

Wednesday: ditto but from dead South

Thursday: could be up a bit more say 2 ish metres from dead South.

Enough for you to think about.

Hey Lifesavers and lifeguards have been busy with lots of inexperienced people getting into trouble in the water this season. Warm weather and lots of rips aren’t a good combination. Don’t be one of them if you’re learning. If you’re experienced in the surf, keep your eye out for people who might need help or advice, and let the lifesavers know. Thanks.

Stay well. Stay safe.
