Waves to be had

Hello Friends,

After yesterday’s funky junky conditions, this morning saw WSW wind from the get-go and 2 metres of 9 second SE swell. The tide was high at 0835, and it’ll be back to low at 1520. As the picture shows, lots of folk were at the point just north from there along the beach. Sets looked to be in the shoulder-plus range. The beachies were mostly shutting down, but every now and then a little runner broke the monotony of close outs. The point looked a little section-y but the crowd tells the story of where the most makeable waves were on offer. Not the greatest quality, but at least there are a few catchable ones.

As for the coming week, well, may I commend the Goat’s wisdom unto you.

Have a good one!
