Surf forecast issued Thursday 25 January 2024: Seven day outlook for Sydney
It’ll be warmer tomorrow, TG informed me.
Then he got excited and said
“Heey, the forecast max temps for most of the days after Australia Day are the same as the dates!.. Max temp 27 on the 27th, 29 on the 29th, 30 on the 30th…”
He thinks he’s found an interesting weather phenomenon, and wants to write an academic paper about it in The Goat Journal … but he’s an idiot.
Surf Outlook for Australia Day, the Australia Day Weekend and beyond
TG says there should be little waves around over coming days for you and the kids to enjoy.
If you don’t have high expectations, you won’t be disappointed.
Friday: maybe around 1 ish metres of Noreast windswell
Saturday: starting to come up with the wind at dead South spots
Sunday: around 1-1+ metres at dead South spots
Monday: similar
Tuesday: similar again
Wednesday: starting to come up into the 1-2 metre range at places open the dead South, with messy wind pushing it along
Thursday: and easing back straight away in the 1-2 metre range dead South
Have a great Australia Day weekend! Focus on the positives in and out of the surf and you can’t go wrong.
Enjoy!
TG.
