Postcard from Angourie yesterday..50 out..but I got two waves and was happy. ..50 years to the month since I first surfed there in March 1967. Happy to be still surfing 😊 Today in Sydney SE SW winds. BoM warning of large surf later today..might be ok in some protected corners

In Sydney on the coast the BoM is showing 30-40ks of SE wind and I believe conditions are choppy and messy even at sheltered places..uninspiring . Low Tide’s about 7. 30. Here at Crescent nice waves but very crowded. Overhead sets at the point. ..smaller inside. Calm at the moment. Have a great weekend.

Arvo update You too could have this nearly all to yourself..but don’t rush. It’s actually not as good as it looks..and in fact annoyed most starters..that’s why there’s only one out.

Arvo update Superb day..for a clean up after Friday’s storm .. Still looks to be waves breaking and the wind is light..even offshore NW at some places and onshore at others.
