Point was really firing early this morning, and it still is, but has backed off a bit in the last hour or so. Icy cold conditions at DY with 15C on the gauge at the momet. Water down to around 16.8. Still, there is a substantial crowd out at the Point at 1140. I can see about 15. Lots of waves rolling through but rarely an unridded one. SE swell direction is perfect for the Point and there seems to be a light westerly wind making conditions smooth and clean. Crowd factor and the temperature are the only negative issues today.
