Hello Friends,

Well, there goes Monday. Started out rather nicely, but then the wind kicked in and, as you can see from the pic, Dee Why wasn’t looking to great as the horizon started to block our view of the sun…

The SSE’rly was blowing at 15-20 kts which of course accounts for the unphotogenic surface conditions. Felt pretty chilly too.

With Monday sorted, our thoughts turn to tomorrow’s prospects…

The Bureau says we can expect another mostly sunny day for Tuesday with highs along the coast reaching around the 18 mark. We’re due to start out with 20-25 kts of S-SW wind, but it should ease back a little during the day and be in the 10-15 range toward dusk.

Swell forecast is for 2-3 metres from the S-SE. The latest run of data from the MHL Sydney buoy is showing 3 metres from the south with an average period of 9 seconds. According to the models, we should have swell of about this description for at least a couple more days too.

Have yourself a good one!
