on friday, expect great conditions at the lost village beach, near the mouth of the straits, an hour’s drive – intrepid matt reports excellent surfing there on wednesday and thursday – outstanding bowls, up to double-head, on wednesday, settling down to shoulder-high on thursday – crowded with excellent surfers on the first day, much quieter the second – today is our first snowfall (we only get one or two little ones around the ocean), so expect continued, chilly merriment up the straits …..
