For a south swell, this one sure is acting strangely. The biggest sets are down toward south Steyne and not up at Queenscliff. Just weird. A stupendous number of bods in the water at the aforementioned south Steyne, especially given the inconsistency of the swell. Still, it is glassy in that corner of the beach, so that’s got to be a major plus. Waves up at the Queensie end were strictly so-so. It was really a matter of having very crowded and inconsistent waves, or junky and inconsistent lumps. Your call…
