As expected… fun ones this morning

Hello Friends,

My traditional late start for Sunday has been made an hour earlier thanks to daylight savings finishing. How good is that? Anyway, you should get yourself organised this morning because it looks as though we’ve got some fun ones around at south exposed spots.

As of 0815 there wasn’t much wind around, and what there was, was coming from the WSW. Swell is chugging along from the SSE at around two metres with an average period of just over the 9 sec mark. It looks to me as though there’s still some east in the mix as well. That’s a good combo for lots of spots in Sydney.

So what does the Bureau have to say for today? Glad you asked, ’cause here it is:

Sydney Coastal Waters, Broken Bay to Port Hacking and 60nm seawards:
Sunday until midnight: Wind: SW/SE 5/15 knots, tending E/NE during the afternoon. Sea: about 1 metre. Swell: E/SE about 2 metres.
Monday: Wind: NW/SW 5/15 knots before a S’ly change 20/30 knots during the morning. Winds easing to 15/20 knots late.Sea: rising to 2 to 3 metres during the morning, abating late.Swell: E/NE 1.5 to 2 metres.
Tuesday: Wind: S/SE 15/25 knots.

And the tide? Next one up is a low at 1115.

I might shoot out and shoot another pic or two…
